My Story

I grew up in a theatrical family. My grandmother and grandfather were professional ballroom dancers, and my grandmother, Vesey Edwards, was the Professor of Dance at Baylor University. She also was the theater choreographer for famed Director Cecil Pickett in  Houston, Texas.

Many recognizable names hailed from the Houston area including Patrick Swayze, Dennis and Randy Quaid, Cindy Pickett (“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, “St. Elsewhere”, etc.), Brent Spiner ( best known for his portrayal of the android Lieutenant Commander Data in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation), Robert Wuhl (“Good Morning Vietnam”, “Batman”, “Bull Durham”, etc), Farrah Fawcett, and many others.

My aunt was an extremely talented costume designer and artist. My brother, John is also a professional actor. He currently performs in and around Edinburgh, Scotland and London, England.

My grandmother encouraged me to audition for Thornton Wilder’s “OUR TOWN” when I was ten years old. To my surprise and delight, I was cast! I’ve have been addicted to performing ever since.

I have been fortunate to be able to perform in theater and film, stand up comedy, TV commercials, and voiceovers for many years.
